Slask Wroclaw added depth to its backcourt by inking point guard Lukasz Kolenda to a one-year deal, the club announced Friday.

Kolenda (1.96 meters, 21 years old) arrives from Trefl Sopot, where he averaged 11.4 points and 3.8 assists in 34 Polish League games last season. He joined Sopot in 2012 and spent 10 seasons with his former club. Kolenda has also been a member of the Polish national team. "I decided to come to Slask Wroclaw because of the opportunity to develop my skills in high-level EuroCup games, and to fight for the highest goals in the Polish league," Kolenda said. "I am glad that I will have the opportunity to represent Slask in the coming season, both internationally and locally."
