Partizan NIS Belgrade locked a talent for the long term as it re-signed Aleksa Stepanovic for three seasons, the club announced Sunday.

Stepanovic (2.06 meters, 23 years old) came to Partizan at the end of last season and played five games for the club and collected 5.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists. The Serbian forward came up in the Nis system but moved to Bosnia and Herzegovina and played for OKK Spars Sarajevo, starring at the Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament Belgrade in 2016 as he collected 20.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks. Stepanovic left Spars in 2018 to join Serbian side Dynamic Belgrade and played for Metalac Valjevo in 2019-20 before staring last season with Sloboda Uzice. Stepanovic also played for Serbia at the FIBA U18 European Championship 2016 and the FIBA U20 European Championship in 2018 and 2018.
